commitment to playing and teaching hockey to UltraSkills
Hockey.
The UltraSkills
System
Ron Davidson has developed the
UltraSkills system of hockey instruction after
teaching and coaching hockey for over 30 years
in Canada, the United States and Europe.
Since 2002, the UltraSkills teaching system has
received national attention in Canada. It was
featured on the television show Hockey Night in
Canada in 2002 and 2003 and in Canada’s National
Newspaper, the Globe and Mail in February of 2003.
Chris Cuthbert of Hockey Night in Canada
described UltraSkills as “the most innovative
and progressive hockey teaching program in Canada”
and “the new wave of teaching hockey.”
The article in The Globe and Mail
contained the following:
“Everybody should be doing UltraSkills. It’s an
unbelieveable program. The kids are always moving
and handling the puck.”

In 2004, Ron
Davidson conducted on-ice demonstrations for coaches at:
• The Toronto Maple Leafs Tim Horton’s
Hockey Festival at the Air Canada Centre.
• The Ottawa Senators Tim Horton’s Coaching Clinic at the
Corel Centre.
• The World Academic Hockey Conference “Skating into the Future-Hockey
in the New Millenium” at the Aitken Centre in
New Brunswick.
• The Halifax Mooseheads Coaching Clinic at the Halifax Metro
Centre.

An Olympian
Ron Davidson played for Canada’s National Team for 5 years.
He represented Canada at the Olympics at Lake Placid in 1980.
Ron set scoring records as a rookie in the Quebec Major Junior
A league with the Cornwall Royals. He played Major Junior A
for 3 years including his final year with the OHL Champion Ottawa
67’s under coach Brian Kilrea.
Ron played university hockey for 5 years and was named "All
Canadian". He played professional hockey in Europe for 4 years:
one year in the Elite League in Sweden, two years in Switzerland
and one year in France. |

A Passion for Teaching
Hockey
Ron has directed hockey camps, schools and clinics in Canada,
the United States and Europe. He has directed schools and
clinics for the Phoenix Coyotes and the Ottawa Senators of
the N.H.L.
Ron was a professional coach and a player coach in Europe.
With three children, playing hockey he has coached minor hockey
in Canada for 8 years. Ron is certified as an Advanced Level
coach. He has conducted coaching clinics in Canada, the United
States, Europe and Australia. Ron has been the director of
UltraSkills Hockey Schools since 1996.
